Bowman's Cowboy Kitchen

Amazing find on our journey home!! 100% worth the bit of a detour from the freeway! Very clean, great service and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious!! The portions were very generous! Our group ordered Tater skins, steak, The Bowman fries, The Utah burger, and The Torta... All excellent!

We had an amazing family reunion at this restaurant! The location is stunning! Beautiful Mountain views all around and the outside patio was close to perfect! ((The only issue we had were the flys)) the food was phenomenal! We tried the Utah burger and some brisket mac & cheese french fries! So delicious and such a beautiful time and was served by the sweetest waitress Bri!! Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories on our family vacation!

Absolutely loved our meal at Bowman's Kitchen! We ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of vegetables and fries, and everything was amazing. The steak was tender and flavorful, and the gravy was delicious. Definitely one of the highlights! The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade and comforting. The restaurant itself has a nice, welcoming vibe, and our server was super friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we got. Highly recommend if you're craving a hearty, satisfying meal. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This place is so good! It's about 10 minutes away from Cedar City, and worth the drive. Price is fair especially for amount of food you get. Our food was perfect. Our server Bree was so sweet and attentive. So willing to answer questions. Honestly best place I've been in a long while.

Google Maps led us here from the conservative end of California. Yes, it's a bit of a drive from the freeway....many gems are. Not busy when we went here. It was clean and had some good decor on the walls. The bathrooms were also very clean. Country music was playing overhead. I think the restaurant looks like it's on a working ranch with stock. I bet this place can be packed with people on weekends! The ribeye steak was very tender, but my sirloin was chewy, and not as flavorful. The aioli garlic sauce was good on top. We were travelling hungry after a 12-hour drive, so as a guy, I kept eating because it wasn't bad enough to complain to the ladies. But let me tell you about the peach cobbler! Oh my tongue slapped my brains out. It was hot, cinnamon-packed, and just right with the a la mode!!! If we pass by this way again, I will give this steakhouse another go, because I'm not a quitter! I can tell you, they have a good thing here.

The food was excellent! Excellent Flavors and perfect portion size. The waitress was so hospitable. We had to visit a second time before we headed out of town.

My wife had spoken very highly of this small restaurant for some time, so we decided to stop in on a Saturday afternoon with the entire family. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded our expectations. I ordered a burger, which was exceptionally flavorful, perfectly cooked, and impressively juicy. We also tried a salad, which was fresh, well-balanced, and surprisingly delicious. I even sampled a bite of the prime rib that my aunt ordered, and I couldn’t believe how juicy it was or how perfectly balanced the flavors were—truly impressive. Our server provided outstanding service—attentive, friendly, and consistently aware of our needs without ever feeling intrusive. The restaurant itself has a warm, cozy atmosphere, making it an inviting place to enjoy a meal. The entire staff was pleasant and professional, contributing to the overall positive experience. Our food arrived promptly and at the perfect temperature, demonstrating both efficiency and attention to detail in the kitchen. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I would absolutely recommend it to others, and we look forward to returning the next time we visit Utah.

Stopped in for a couple burgers with the missus. We each ordered a different one. Service was friendly. They list as a 5 oz burger but they came to the table large and perfectly cooked. About 10 minutes out of town but well worth the drive. Plenty of parking and great patio seating.
